A ‘MAGIC’ and MANTRA Weekend

On the weekend of September 13th and 14th, 2013, Chrissie and Gary Blaze came from the Michigan Branch to Toronto, Canada to give a packed array of lectures and classes.

Chrissie’s main event called ‘The Magic of the Elements ~ Astrology, Healing and the Forces of Nature’ at the Living Arts Centre’s beautiful Rogers Theatre on the evening of Friday 13th, was a huge success with 45 people attending. It was extremely fascinating and intriguing and people not only learned a lot, but really enjoyed it. The audience participated in sending thankfulness energy to the Devas as Chrissie ended her talk by reading a wonderful inspiring poem that she had written. There was a buzzing of enthusiastic discussion and compliments as Chrissie signed books afterwards.

A photographer came from a local paper called SNAP Mississauga and instead of just taking pictures, sat in on the entire lecture, took notes and was so interested and impressed that he stayed for a half hour afterwards to speak with Chrissie and take pictures of her and some Members of the Toronto Group.

On Saturday 14th morning, Chrissie gave a lecture called ‘Karmic Astrology’ at the Tathaastu Mind Body Soul Wellness Expo which was going on at the International Centre in Mississauga. Twenty attentive people were interactive and also purchased some of her books afterwards. We met with the promoter of the Fair along with the Editor of their Tathaastu magazine, and they discussed with Chrissie about printing some of her articles in upcoming issues.

At 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon, Gary Blaze gave an outstanding 3-hour class called ‘The Power of Mantra Yoga ~ The Sacred Science of Sound’ at the Toronto Group Centre to 14 keen students. He was charismatic and funny, as well as serious, knowledgable and dynamic. The time flew by. It was an Initiation but also included lots of practice, as well as a guided contemplation by Gary to music. The Course was very well received and people loved it!
